Estonian energy start-up Gridio has been selected among the top 3 in the Mobility and Transportation category of the international SET100 ranking for 2026. It is one of the world’s most prestigious lists highlighting energy and climate technology start-ups, featuring only the most impactful and fastest growing companies.

This year, 100 companies were chosen for the SET100 list from more than 470 candidates across 79 countries. The selection was made by an international jury of energy transition experts who evaluated companies based on impact, innovation, and growth potential.

Gridio offers a cloud-based smart charging platform for energy companies and homeowners. Gridio’s service helps make charging and energy use more affordable, cleaner, and simpler for users. During 2025, the company has taken significant steps in cooperation with official car manufacturers, enabling reliable real-time charging through official integrations without the need for additional hardware. Gridio is one of the few companies in Europe with official integrations with leading car manufacturers.

According to Gridio, this international recognition shows that technology developed in Estonia can compete with top-tier energy technology companies worldwide and play an important role in the future of electric vehicles and energy systems.
